 |  | Jon Newbery Chief Executive Officer Jon Newbery has 20 years of management, finance, operational, and turnaround experience. He qualified as an accountant with Arthur Andersen in London, before moving to Warsaw, Poland in 1991 to assist in establishing the consultancy’s presence there. Jon moved to Australia in June 2000, where he joined Newport Capital Group as an investment director. While at Newport, Jon worked with young Australian companies advising on fund raising, restructuring and exit opportunities. In 2002, Jon established his own operational consulting business, where he successfully ran a number of early stage technology businesses.
Jon is currently the CEO of IMX's holding company, Powerlan, which he joined in 2006, and has recently taken on the role as CEO of IMX.
Jon holds a BSc in Physics from the University of Nottingham (England) and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.

Tickner VP of Sales & Marketing William J Tickner has 20 years experience in senior technology sales & marketing roles including periods as Vice President of Convergys Corporation in Europe where he ran international partner sales operations with leading systems integrators, and as General Manager of Geneva Technology in Asia where he planned and led its successful regional market entry programme.
William has also held senior technology and software sales and marketing roles at IBM, CableData, Cognima and Datanomic. He was most recently Vice President, Europe at Clarity, a vendor of operational management software for telecoms service providers.
William joined IMX in 2007 to lead and expand its global commercial team and in this role he is responsible for new business development, strategic account management, marketing, business partnerships and product management.
William holds and Executive MBA from Henley Management School, UK.

 |  | Paul Connolly VP of Services Paul Connolly joined IMX Software in 2005 as a Project Manager. Paul has managed projects covering the entire IMX product range across a wide cross section on IMX’s clients. As VP of Services Paul is responsible for all aspects of client project delivery and management of the business analysis and project management teams.
Paul has 20 years of experience in the software development industry having worked on a range of defence and commercial development projects. Paul has a degree in Electronic Engineering from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.

 |  | John Staines VP of Research & Development John Staines has over 15 years experience in organisational architecture and the research, design and implementation of effective, high performance information systems solutions. John spent a number of years at Andersen Consulting as an IT Service, Quality and Change Management Specialist, where he contributed to key financial IT Service Transformation programs including Y2K and next generation strategic initiatives.
John has also spent periods in Wealth Management Services of the National Australia Bank and later the Professional Lenders Association Network, where he led transformation programs that optimised the IT Value Proposition through the establishment and control of People, Process, Product and Service competencies to Business Partners.
John joined IMX Software in May 2008 and is the Vice President of Research and Development.
John holds a BSc in Physics from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, a P. Grad.Dip in Computing from Monash University of Australia and ITIL Managers and PMBOK certification.

 |  | Tim Shaw Global Product Manager Tim Shaw joined IMX in 2000 as a technical pre-sales consultant. Now, as Global Product Manager, Tim is responsible for the planning and execution of the full IMX product portfolio including gathering and prioritising product and customer requirements, defining the product vision and working closely with all stakeholders to meet client objectives and maintain IMX’s competitive advantage.
Prior to joining IMX, Tim ran his own consulting company specialising in e-Commerce solutions. Tim has over 20 years experience in the IT industry which includes placements at the Royal Dutch Shell Group and Oracle Corporation.
Tim holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Tasmania and is a Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer in .NET.

 |  | Andrew Buller Director of Strategic Accounts Andrew Buller is Director of Strategic Accounts at IMX Software. Since joining the company in 2001, Andrew has worked closely with IMX’s largest European clients to establish the company as the leader in its field and to align IMX’s capability to the needs of its customers.
With more than twenty years experience in the FX industry, Andrew‘s deep understanding of both the technical and commercial aspects of FX has been utilised to drive significant growth in Europe, including the successful expansion of IMX into new business opportunities such as managed services.
Prior to joining IMX, Andrew spent ten years at American Express in UK-based and US-based roles.

 |  | Julia Freeman Director of Business Development Julia Freeman is Director of Business Development at IMX Software. Julia joined the company in 2007 and is responsible for developing new markets throughout EMEA and the US in order to deliver retail and wholesale FX solutions to financial organisations.
Julia has more than twenty years experience in the IT marketplace and has a broad understanding of sales, channel, services and marketing operations. Prior to joining IMX, Julia was EMEA Sales Director at Just Systems, a provider of enterprise content life cycle solutions and XML authoring tools. Julia also spent a number of years at Software AG where she ran the strategic alliance and partner division, working with companies such as IBM and BEA Systems.
Julia studied Computer Science at the University of Hertfordshire.

 |  | Michael Low Sales Director, Asia Pacific Michael joined IMX Software in August 2008 and is the Sales Director, Asia Pacific, responsible for developing and expanding the company’s presence in the region.
Michael has over 15 years regional business-to-business sales and marketing experience working in IT software, hardware and electronics and he has repeatedly led the sales of corporate treasury, loans and cash management systems in the Asia Pacific region.
Prior to joining IMX, Michael was Regional Sales Manager for Asia at aurionPro Solutions, where he was instrumental in building its business in South East Asia. Michael has also spent periods at Mitsubishi Electronic, CS Lucas Pte Ltd and Infineon Technologies.
Michael holds a BEng from the National University of Singapore, an MSc in Electronics Engineering from the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore and a MBA in Finance from the University of Leeds (England).
