Chief Executive Officer
Bill was appointed Chief Executive in 2010 having previously served as VP Sales. He brings an entrepreneurial commercial leadership style and over 20 years’ experience gained from senior management roles within specialist technology businesses from the financial services and telecom sectors.
Prior to joining IMX, Bill was Chief Executive of Omnix Software, a UK-based software business serving global clients. He has held senior roles including Vice-President, EMEA at Clarity, a provider of telecom operational support systems, and Vice-President at Convergys Corporation, where he led business development teams throughout Europe and Asia Pacific.
Prior to Convergys, Bill led EMEA business development for Geneva Technology, a UK-based software company. After 4 years of rapid growth Geneva was acquired by Convergys in 2001 for $692m.
In addition, Bill has held senior commercial management roles at two UK-based, VC-backed technology start-ups to support early-stage sales and market development.
Bill holds an Executive MBA from Henley Business School (University of Reading).
Ian Goodall
Chief Operating Officer
For more than 15 years Ian has provided technology management and consultancy to the finance industry. Ian began his career at Reuters, providing real-time systems to global investment banks. In 2001 Ian established and developed PTS Consulting’s Trading Systems practice, providing specialist consultancy to EDS and its customers; during this time he also managed Reuters adoption of BT as its global network provider. After PTS Consulting, Ian became General Manager at Green Hat where he ran its day-to-day operations. Then as a Vice President at Merrill Lynch Ian was responsible for successfully managing the migration of all Debt and Commodities systems into a new regional datacentre.
Ian joined IMX in 2009 and his role as COO focuses full-time on all aspects of customer delivery and support.
Ian holds an Executive MBA from CASS Business School, London.
Andrew Buller
Sales Director
Andrew Buller is Director of Strategic Sales at IMX Software. Since joining the company in 2001, Andrew has worked closely with IMX’s largest European clients to establish the company as the leader in its field and to align IMX’s capability to the needs of its clients.
With more than twenty years experience in the FX industry, Andrew‘s deep understanding of both the technical and commercial aspects of FX has been utilised to drive significant growth in Europe, including the successful expansion of IMX into new business opportunities such as managed services.
Prior to joining IMX, Andrew spent ten years at American Express in UK-based and US-based roles.
Chris Spalding
Product Director
Chris joined IMX in 2010 as Product Director and is responsible for setting the vision for new products and taking them to market, from concept to delivery. This includes the revolutionary new Global Trading System platform, where Chris will focus on bringing market and customer priorities together to define the investment roadmap and reinforce IMX’s industry leadership.
Chris has worked in the travel industry for more than 20 years, focusing on product development and marketing, with a vision and passion for creating better customer experiences and corporate competitive advantage.
Prior to joining IMX, Chris spent 6 years at First Rate Exchange Services, where he was Senior Product Development Manager and interim Head of Prepaid Products. Chris has also worked with the UK Post Office and has detailed experience of the prepaid cards and international payments market.
Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Exeter University and a diploma in marketing; he is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
